Father's Day Cards
Remember your father, living or deceased, by enrolling him in the Father’s Day Novena. All the masses on Father’s Day will be celebrated in honor of those listed for the novena. The names will be placed in the memory box and placed on the Blessed Mother’s Altar for the month of June. The envelope with the name(s) can be returned to the rectory or placed in the collection baskets or poor boxes.

Second Collection
There will be a second collection this week to support the cost of the roof replacement.

Priestly Anniversaries
Two corrections are needed in last week’s bulletin. Father Gil celebrates the First Anniversary of his ordination on June 14th and Father Anthony’s Seventh Anniversary is the same day and not June 4th as listed in last week’s bulletin. May God continue to bless them for their kind and generous service to all of us.

Thank You
The students of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Regional School would like to thank the parishioners of St. Barnabas the Apostle Church for donating box tops to our General Mills Box Tops for Education fund raiser, which ended March 30th, and raised over $800 for our school. This fund raiser is on going, so if you have any General Mills box tops, please continue to send them to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Regional School, 2341 Washington Avenue, until June 15th. Please save them over the summer and send them to us in September. Have a wonder summer.

Silver Jubilee Celebration
Father Bill Meyer, S.M. celebrates the twenty-fifth anniversary of his ordination this weekend. For ten of those twenty-five years Father Bill has shared his gifts with the parish community during the holidays, at a parish retreat and during his visits to his parent’s home. Since he considers St. Barnabas his “New York home” after all these years of sharing in the parish’s life, he will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving this Sunday at the noon mass. Please join us at the Eucharistic Table as Fr. Bill thanks the Lord for the blessing of his priesthood. God Bless You Father Bill and Thank You for Your Friendship and Priestly Service.

What’s Up, Up There?
As you will notice the work area was fenced in this week. This fencing in the rear parking lot will remain in place until the end of the job. Masonry work has begun on the highest peaks at the rear of the Church. While it doesn’t look like much is happening, work is accomplished each day. Thanks for your patience and your concern.

Cub Scout Registration
For boys entering grades 1 through 4 in September. Pack 580 will be having an Open House at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School Cafeteria on Wednesday, June 23rd at 7:30 PM. For more information, contact Debbie Marzigliano at 316-0045.

Summer Reading and Math
Tutoring Program
Children from St. Barnabas Parish are invited to participate in the Catholic Learning Center’s 31st Annual Summer Reading and Math Tutoring Program at St. Frances de Chantal or at any of the 41 other locations during July or August. Children from grades 1 through 8 will be tutored by certified teachers in small groups of 10 or few students for 30 hours of uninterrupted learning. The modes fee includes testing, materials, and parent conferences. Call the Catholic Learning Center at 631-821-2442 for registration or information.

Bellmore Knights of Columbus
