This month, we are most in need of cereal, coffee, tea, mayonnaise, juices, rice, pasta sauce, pancake mix & syrup, dish & laundry detergent, toothpaste and all paper goods. Please leave your pantry donations on the lobby benches in church next weekend. We are also happy to accept them at the rectory during the week. The Ten-Minute Club also meets on Pantry Sunday. Please meet our St. Vincent de Paul Society members in the Church lobby after Mass and take this month’s food donations over to the rectory basement. Your generous support of our Pantry, as always, is deeply appreciated. Thank you so much.

Catholic Ministries Appeal
Goal: $101,600
Pledges Received: $ 78,165
As a parish we continue to struggle to reach our goal. Last week we wrote to those who have contributed in the past to our campaign and who have not shared in the appeal this year. Hopefully through this latest effort we will come closer to our goal and perhaps reap the benefits of being one of the parishes that actually makes it goal. Your generosity is most appreciated.
Marian Activities for the Month of May
Mothers’ Day Baby Shower
Make this Mothers’ Day even more special by supporting our annual Mothers’ Day Baby Shower for Birthright, Momma’s House and the Life Center. We encourage you to bring NEW baby items with you to church on May 1st, so we can deliver them in time for Mothers’ Day, itself. Just leave your donations on the lobby benches in our church vestibule. Should you forget, we can also accept them at the rectory until Tuesday, May 3rd. Toys ‘R Us gift cards, pampers, blankets and baby clothes (up to toddler size 4T) would be ideal. Of course layettes are always welcome. This year we will also accept small gifts for the Moms. Gifts the Moms would love include disposable cameras (to take pictures of the babies), picture frames, toiletries, metro cards (most do not have cars), and of course gift certificates. Aside from the help it will be to dozens of Moms who don’t have the money for these things, our little “shower” during her month is also a beautiful way to honor Mary, our Blessed Mother, who loves and cares for us all. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.

We will celebrate the Sacrament on Pentecost Sunday, May 15th. Please contact Fr. Anthony at the rectory for more information.
